Our flight to Cape Town was from Singapore so we used this opportunity to visit our friends Geana and Gonzalo who live here as expats. Walking and more walking We were really lucky because their apartment is located in downtown so we could do almost all our sightseeing by walking around. The first day was really intense. We made our way to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and then walked from there through Chinatown to Clarkes Quay, the posh … [Read more...] about Two days in Singapore

Gili Air
Our second and last destination in Indonesia was Gili Air, the Gili island whis is a bit less touristy than Gili Trawagan but with more buzz than Gili Meno. However, the first couple of days we didn't really feel that this island is very special. Yoga lessons, relaxing and enjoying good, cheap food After arriving with the boat, we first had to find a place to stay since we hadn't booked in advance. Our last stop in the Philippines was Coron, an island on the Northern tip of Palawan. To try something new, we decided to not book a hotel but to get our accommodation with Airbnb. This was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Staying with Romel and Vilma near 7 Picados After staying in small rooms with a shared bathroom almost for an entire month, we loved our spacious room at our Airbnb. But what we loved most about the place was … [Read more...] about Coron
El Nido
Our last stop in Palawan was El Nido, famous for the best island hopping tours. We thought we would stay in Corong Corong because it seemed quieter than busy El Nido but we didn't like it so much, we actually preferred staying in Wl Nido cause you can walk around in the evening and choose the best spots for food and drinks. Island Hopping After we arrived we only stayed one night in Corong Corong because we had a 3-day 2-night camping trip … [Read more...] about El Nido
